HYPODOMUS LEIDEN
Passion for the realtor business, that’s what the people of Hypodomus definitely have. Back in 2007 Rick Rijnbeek started with Hypodomus Rick Rijnbeek (in the housing crisis!) and grew to be a succesful realtor in Leiden and surrounding area. Rick set up a great team and built a good portfolio with nice clients. Since 2024 they changed their name into Hypodomus Leiden. A well-known realtor in Leiden and surroundings.
Together they are responsible for the buying and selling of both private and commercial property in Leiden and greater area. We take pride in building close relationships with our clients, and the mutual trust that this brings. This makes hard work a given; our satisfied clients are what our reputation is build on.
The secret? Our last client; The best kind of advertising will always be word-of-mouth. Anybody can sell a house, but with what effort and which price? As a realtor, we aim to provide literal added value. Through years of market experience, we can help you purchase at sharp prices, or run a successful sale. You won’t even have to stay home for the property’s viewings; As you do your job, we will do ours.

Rick Rijnbeek
In 2010, Rick started Hypodomus Leiden. As an entrepreneurial go-getter, he simply got started. No business plan, but a huge drive. He is proud of his team, the collaboration and customer satisfaction. And what about his innovative commission model with a satisfaction bonus?

Manon Vermolen
At the end of 2024, Manon joined our real estate office alongside Rick. Her ambition, drive and experience (working in real estate since 2019) are a strong addition to the team. Our no-nonsense approach matches well with her down-to-earth mindset.

Kevin van Rooijen
Kevin has been working at Hypodomus Leiden since the summer of 2020. We were looking for a woman aged 50+, and it turned out to be Kevin. That is how things can go, and honestly: we are still very happy with it. What started in the office has grown into much more. Kevin is an assistant real estate agent and since January 1, 2026, is more active outside, focusing on purchase guidance and handling sales files. He experiences working with Mariëlle as a real pleasure. So do we.

Marielle van Gijzen
Since the autumn of 2023, Mariëlle has strengthened our office team. Kevin tipped her that we were looking for a great new colleague. She had doubts beforehand about the commercial side of a real estate office, but we had a match. And that shows in practice every single day.

Lisette de Bruin
Lisette has been part of the Hypodomus Leiden team since December 1, 2025. After running her own beauty salon for years, she was ready for something completely different. At a mutual wedding, Manon got her excited: wedding on Saturday, interview on Monday, and that same afternoon Lisette joined the team. Funny how things sometimes work out.

Julia Verhoeks
Julia once started as an intern at Hypodomus Leiden and quickly grew within the team. She has a diploma as a Legal Administrative Assistant and is in the final phase of her HBO Law degree at Leiden University of Applied Sciences, where she is currently working on her thesis. Julia now works in the office, handling administration together with Mariëlle and Lisette.
